“When I say I want to photograph someone, what it really means is that I’d like to know them.”

Get to Know Me…

A camera has been all I ever needed and it was going to turn my passion into a full career. Over the last 10 years I have entered film & photography festivals and won awards for my work. I wrote for the Seattle Film Critic's Society on the side, and earned the title of "Outstanding Media Arts Student" my senior year of high school. I did freelance work in photography and promotional/commercial media along with growing my craft in independent filmmaking. Which brought me back to school. I graduated Toronto Film School in Fall of 2022 with a degree in Film Production with distinction. After exploring the many pathways film has to offer, I've found my place in Documentary.

My career has a lot more substance to me than just knowing how to use a camera. I enjoy every single aspect creating, from the planning stages, the shoots, to the editing. Whether it’s with my personal photography sessions or on set with crew-mates and cast.
One of the main reasons why I chose to do this is because of the people. I have the privilege to take time out of someone else’s day to sit and get to know them on a different level. My job can get extremely personal, there’s a level of vulnerability that the model or actor must give the camera in order to capture a scene in time. By getting to create that bond with someone, even without the camera being a distraction, is something truly special to me and it is why I'm grateful to call myself a creative.
